Academy wins Salford award
With thanks to British Wrestling Association members and their supporters, the British Wrestling Salford Academy won a local recycling award.
Salford City Council have a monthly “competition” intended to raise the profile of recycling across Salford.
Good causes are put forward for an on-line vote and the good cause with the most votes wins the award, (provided that recycling weight has gone up month on month in their area of Salford, not all areas did).

Salford City Council reported:
“The winner for East Salford for January 2016 was the British Wrestling Association (Salford Academy). They wanted money to buy tables and chairs for the venue, as they will be bringing in more people for meetings and conferences and don’t have any furniture at the moment.
As the amount of recycling has gone up in East Salford, the British Wrestling Association (Salford Academy) will receive their reward.”
