British Wrestling is delighted to announce the appointment of Alex Gladkov to our Board of Directors. Representing Scotland, Alex brings a powerful combination of elite athletic experience and professional expertise in risk management and digital transformation to the role.
From the Mat to the Boardroom
Alex is a familiar face within the wrestling community, having represented Team Scotland at numerous national and international competitions, including the Commonwealth Games. His transition from a decorated athlete to a strategic leader is already well underway; he currently serves as a Board Member for the Scottish Sports Association and has provided leadership for Scottish Wrestling since 2016.
Professionally, Alex is a Risk Analyst at Kroll, where he specialises in protecting global organisations from reputational and security threats. His background includes delivering large-scale digital transformation projects for “Big Four” consultancy firms and leading complex risk reviews for global tech giants.
Strengthening Our Strategic Vision
This appointment comes at a pivotal time as we look to deliver our 2025-2030 Strategy: Unleashing Potential. Alex’s unique skillset in Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) will be vital as we work to empower our people and strengthen our organisational foundations.
