Another benefit to working with BWA is gaining one to one support for your club. Below is a case study of one of our clubs and their development.
Case study: Aspull Warriors Wrestling Club Community Schools Project
Aspull Warriors Wrestling Club is an Affiliated BWA Club. Aspull Warriors coach Charlie Bowling has worked with BWA to submit a Sport England ‘Awards for All’ Grant for £10,000. This bid was successful on the second attempt to run the project in 2019 – 2020 with four schools. The main aspects of this school project involved the club delivering the BWA colour awards scheme to the children by Charlie for half the session and the other session is covered by Bolton Council’s Neil around healthy eating. The overall aim of this project was to instil good practice into the children for keeping active and eating healthy.
Member Discounts
British Wrestling has secured various discounts for our members from a range of partners offering a variety of products and services. We will also have discounts for our clubs and members through the BWA Insurance Portal. Discounts will be available through the BWA Membership Portal in 2020.
