Coaching Conference – Agenda
Entry is free for all wrestling coaches to the BWA coaches conference. You must book through the BWA membership portal to confirm your place. BWA will not cover hotel or travel costs. Coaches need a valid BWA membership to book onto the conference. (Any BWA membership valid on the day however this does not include fan memberships).

11:30 – 12:30 – Coaches Licenses and Importance of Safeguarding (Guest Speaker: Joanna Madyarchyk, MUFC Lead Safeguarding Officer
12:30 – 13:30 – Lunch
13:30 – 14:45 – Group 1 – Practical [TBC] / Group 2 Theory
– [Wrestling key factor analysis / how to break down the move. UWW educator.] (Over two sessions, 1.5 hr sessions). UWW Educator: Georgi Sredkov

11:45 – 12:45 – Theory: Coaching the individual in front of you (coach comms styles etc) – British Judo Men’s Olympic Development Squad and Paralympic Head Coach, Ian Johns.
12:45 – 13:30 – Lunch
13:30 – 14:30 – Theory/Practical: Participation workshop (Games and how to engage with schools). (UWW Educator)
