British Wrestling, the national governing body for wrestling in the UK, is seeking to appoint a Development Manager (Competitions) to deliver our mission of promoting and developing the sport of wrestling so that everyone achieves their potential on and off the mat. This is an exciting opportunity to join the national governing body for the Olympic and Commonwealth sport of wrestling.
The Development Manager (Competitions) will work alongside the existing Development Manager (Workforce) to support partners, clubs, and regions to increase participation, retention and tackle inequalities in participation. The successful candidate will have experience of working with clubs and communities to develop inclusive programmes that demonstrate the social impact of wrestling.
In addition to the broader development role, this post will work with the Sport Technical Committee to coordinate and develop the competition structure for the sport including the delivery of national competitions and leagues. This is an exciting time to join British Wrestling a growing and ambitious governing body as we grow the sport and develop the competition offer.

The Legacy Project Officer will work with targeted communities in the West Midlands, Northwest, and London/ Southeast to deliver female wrestling activities that increase participation, retention and tackle inequalities in participation. The successful candidate will have experience of working with clubs and communities to develop inclusive programmes that demonstrate the social impact of sport.
The post holder will work with our digital partners to create digital communities to enhance the participant experience and our monitoring and evaluation partners to ensure the impact of the project is captured.
