British Wrestling is pleased to announce that Sport England have approved BWA’s application for the Inclusivity Fund.
BWA’s CEO and Development Manager have applied and successfully been awarded the Sport England Inclusivity Grant for all our Clubs based in England.
Craig Anthony, BWA CEO, says “we’re delighted in receiving the inclusivity grant from Sport England, this will allow us to better support our clubs to return to the mat”
Andreas Michaelas (BWA Development Manager) will be contacting all clubs individually to support their application to receive the support. The key points for clubs to bear in mind to receive the award are:
The regions of England are hosting regional committee meetings, as part of these meetings BWA will be in attendance to discuss the Inclusivity Fund and how to apply for it. Potential Questions – Inclusivity Fund
We will work with each club individually to create a Development Plan to support their revival post pandemic restrictions. This will range from various areas from governance (such as a constitution), coaching standards and safeguarding. This depends on the clubs circumstances and how much of this is already in place. Below are the basic’s that all our clubs need to adhere too.
