C-Mats – British Wrestling Competition System FAQs
With the arrival of 2022, British Wrestling will be rolling out the online C-Mats Competition System. All fans, spectators, volunteers, athletes and coaches can access the C-Mats system to follow their brackets and the overall competition. As such we have prepared some common FAQs surrounding the system below.

Q1. How can I accessing the C-Mats system?
There are a few ways to access the system. There will be QR code posters around the venue with which you can scan to access the public bout list. This has limited functionality unless you merge your BWA membership with the system or visit the website directly here
Q2. How do I log into the C-Mats system?
To gain all the functionalities of the system you will need to merge your BWA membership profile with the C-Mat system. To do this you have to set up a new account and use your log in details for your BWA membership. Follow the on screen prompts to merge your accounts.
Q3. What added functionality is there if I merge my account?
Once you have merged your account you get a few additional features that are linked to your membership. The main feature is to filter the bout list of the public bout list to your preference. You can filter by Club, or if you’re a competitor your can filter by all your bouts. This can be done through the filters highlighted on the public bout list image below.
Q4. I’m a fan of the sport and just want to know who’s next on the mat, how do I find out who’s on next and when they’re on?
Depending on the level of event, the event organisers will have additional displays to show the ‘Next up’ screen. This is to show spectators who’s up next while being able to enjoy the event from their seats. When a bout starts, its highlighted in a different colour to show its the active bout on the Mat. You’ll also be able to access the public bout list from the QR code posters around these venues.
Q5. How do we look at the results of the competition?
To access the results of the competition you’ll need to click on the competition within the calendar on the landing page. From there you’ll see the below image. Here you must click the ‘Final Results’ button to be taken to the next screen below.
Here you will be given all the medallists positions. If you want to see the entire bracket with points awarded. Click the blue arrow button to be taken to the specific bracket.
