Still time to #GetYourKitOn and support grassroots sport funding…
The campaign, created to lobby George Osborne to protect grassroots sport funding, has been seen by over 10 million Twitter users and enabled over 1,200 direct emails to the Treasury asking for funding to be protected ahead of the Spending Review on 25 November.
Polling carried out by the Alliance shows that 79% of people believe the Government should do more to support grassroots sport.
A further 75% believe grassroots sport should receive more funding from the Government.
With time running out before next Wednesday’s Spending Review, the Alliance Chief Executive Emma Boggis is asking all Alliance members and those who are passionate about grassroots sport to #GetYourKitOn and get behind the campaign.
Messages need to get through to the Chancellor ahead of 25 November.
Said Emma, “By visiting www.getyourkiton.team you can send a quick and direct message straight to George Osborne’s inbox as well as send tweets and Facebook messages.”
