Coaching Summit – Sat 16 September
Club Lead and UKCC Coaches are invited to British Wrestling’s first Coaching Summit which will now be held annually at the beginning of each season.
The Coaching Summit is scheduled 11am-4pm on Saturday 11th Sept 2017
The Coaching Summit is an opportunity for all involved within the Talent and Performance Pathway to:
- Learn about the BWA vision/mission of development and performance
- Establish roles and responsibilities for all within the pathway
- Exchange experience and thinking process
- Recap the previous year’s work and set new challenges
If groups of coaches choose to travel together then reasonable travel expenses will be considered (prior agreement by admin@britishwrestling.org must be sought)
We look forward to discussing Coaching with you and putting your ideas into practice

Have a view on coaching, the calendar, performance, Squads and/or the overall pathway? Consider yourself a coach with influence within the club, Region or Nation? Member of the BWA?
Then the Coaching Summit is for you, come along to the BWA, Salford on 16 September from 11:00am – 4:00pm and “have your say!”
Reasonable out of pocket expenses will be considered and prior approval is recommended, please E mail admin@britishwrestling.org for clarification.

National Talent Squad (NTS) – Coaching Summit @ BWA, Salford (16 September 2017)
All the parties involved in the talent pathway are invited to a Coaching Summit on Saturday 16 September 2017 this includes the National Coach, Regional Coaches, Safeguarding Officers and Performance Club Coaches.
Starting Time: 11:00am
Finishing Time: 4:00pm
The summit is will set out the BWA vision/objectives/roles & responsibilities for all within the pathway and athletes are not required to attend on this occasion. In addition, the Summit will provide an opportunity to recap last year work and set ourselves new challenges.
