Colin became British Wrestling interim Chief Executive in February 2009 on an AstraZeneca-funded secondment. Colin’s role was made permanent in the role in February 2010. Before 2009, Colin had worked for ICI, Zeneca and then AstraZeneca Pharmaceuticals. AstraZeneca is a FTSE 100 global pharmaceutical company that discovers and sells new medicines. Colin worked in Sales, Marketing and Information Management and his final AstraZeneca role involved managing and sharing information across the 60,000+ staff of AstraZeneca, including operational support, governance and strategy.
As Chief Executive of British Wrestling, Colin leads the Association’s staff and volunteers and is accountable for strategic development, marketing, fundraising, performance, financial management in line with the corporate philosophy. Colin manages Operational Delivery on behalf of The British Wrestling Board. Colin is an executive member of the Board and also Company Secretary.
Colin has a young family. Colin has competed at national level in rowing and target shooting.
