The athletes competed today were
FS 61K – Gareth Jones – lost 1st round match to Ruslan Mukhtarov FRA 0-10- Ruslan did not progress further either which gave Gareth a final position of 21/22
FW 48K – Yana Rattigan – won her first match 10-2 against Kitti Kerosi HUN but lost in her next match 4-9 to Jessica Blaszka NED who subsequently lost to the eventual winner Yanan Sun CHN. Yana’s final position was 7/17
FW 63K – Chloe Spiteri – won her first match 7-5 against Maeva Leseigneur FRA but lost her next match 0-7 to Lais Oliveira BRA who lost to the eventual winner Xiaoquian Wang CHN. Chloe’s final position was 10/18
300 wrestlers from 40 different countries took part
