20th Ukraine International Tournament

GBR have three competitors in the tournament:
Yana Rattigan (48K) – 10 in weight
Leon Rattigan (86K) – 18 in weight
George Ramm (61K) – 8 in weight
On the first day Yana competed in her first round match against Nataliya Pulkovska (UKR). Yana lost 0-4, 0-2. Unfortunately she did not progress further as Nataliya then went on to meet Mariya Stadnik (AZE) who in turn won the weight class. Yana placed 10/10.
Today Leon lost his first round match 2-4 pin to Dmytro Rochniak (UKR) who went on to beat IRI but then in the semi-finals lost to a fellow UKR Ibragin Aldatov (World Champion in 2013)
Also today George lost his first round match to Ivan Bileichuck (UKR) 2-8. However Bileichuck won through to the finals which gave George a chance of a medal placing if he won his repechage match against Ludvik Sholinian (UKR). Unfortunately George lost his repechage match 4-5, 1-5.
