Grand Prix of Spain

Going straight from Bronze Medal at the European Championships – George Ramm competed in the Grand Prix of Spain in Madrid this weekend.
He had 15 seniors in his weight class – 61K
He won his first match v Otenczyn of Poland 8-5
He lost his second match 0-7 to Manuel Wolfer of Germany who was the eventual silver medallist. The gold medallist being Aitkulov Timur from Kazakhstan
In his first repechage match george won 4-2 against Carlos Alvarez of Spain but unfortunately in the Bronze medal match he lost 2-4 to Agustin Sanchez of Spain.
George placed a very creditable 5th in the tournament.
