Charlie Bowling (66K) and Syerus Eslami (74K) attended the above tournament together with England National Coach, Anatolii Kharytoniuk.
In Charlie’s weight there were six competitors. His results were:
1st Match v ITA won 10-0
2nd Match v ITA lost 0-9
Bronze Medal match v ITA won 12-2
In Syreus weight there were ten competitors. His results were:
1st Match v ITA won with a pin
2nd Match v FRA lost 0-10
FRA then lost to CAN, so Syerus unfortunately didn’t make the repechage.
Charlie is staying on for a training camp but will be trying his hand at Beach Wrestling tomorrow!
