Yana Rattigan wrestled to the quarter finals, where she was beaten by Iwona Matkowska of Poland. Final ranking 7/25.

Krasimir Krastanov was beaten in his first round by Frank Chamizo Marquez of Cuba, who was in turn beaten by the Russian winner, Victor Lebedev.  Final ranking 20/33.
