British Wrestling is delighted to congratulate Danoush Jowkar on his selection to represent Great Britain at the upcoming 2023 U17 World Championships.
Danoush earned his selection with multiple victories at the European U17 Championships finishing 7th in Albania last month and we wish him all the best when he competes at 55kg on 4th August in Istanbul Turkey. Danoush who took gold in 55kg at both the English and British Championships this year was recently awarded Male Junior Wrestler of the Year at the British Wrestling Community Awards.
