Disciplinary Code Update October 2024: Important Changes
British Wrestling is committed to ensuring a fair and respectful environment for all its members. To that end, we’ve recently updated our Disciplinary Code in October 2024.
The British Wrestling Board has approved a new version of the Disciplinary Code, effective immediately. These changes, while minimal, provide greater clarity and flexibility in addressing disciplinary matters.
What’s Changed?
The key update to the code enables sanctions to be implemented on a per competition basis rather than over a fixed time period. This allows for more precise and appropriate disciplinary action tailored to the specific circumstances of any incidents.
Why This Change?
This amendment provides greater flexibility and ensures that any sanctions imposed are proportionate to the nature of the infringement and the context in which it occurred.

The updated Disciplinary Code can be found on the British Wrestling website under the “Policies” section. We encourage all members to familiarise themselves with the revised code.
