Entry Regulations
Date of Competition: Saturday 13 May 2017
Venue: Thames Valley Athletic Centre, Eton, SL4 6HN
Ages:
Seniors: Any person 20 years or over on the date of competition (Any person 18yrs or over on the date of competition may compete providing they have the written support of their club coach)
Juniors: Any person 8yrs to 19yrs inclusive on the date of competition
Veterans: Any person 36yrs to 60yrs inclusive on the date of competition
Weight Categories:
Greco (GR): 59K, 66K, 71K, 75K, 80K, 85K, 98K, 130K
Juniors and Veterans: to be matched on the day according to BWA regulations

Weight Allowance: 2kg for Senior weight categories
Weigh-In:
Thames Valley Athletic Centre
Friday 12 May 2017
1900-2100hrs
Plus (on the day) 1200-1230hrs for those entering Greco & Veterans.  These athletes need only attend one weigh-in.

All Club Secretaries are reminded that all Clubs, Coaches, Competitors and Officials must be registered with the BWA for 2017 And Coaches must display their Coach ID.

About these Championships
These Championships are named the Jet Singh Memorial Championships.  They are in memory of Jet Sing who died at a tragically early age, last year.  The Championships are being staged with the suupport of the BWA, Slough Wrestling Club, West London Wrestling Club and volunteers of the Jet Singh memorial trust (link) whose slogan is “Train Hard, Win Easy.”  Many thanks to all those involved.
The Jet Singh Trust arranges events that seek to galvanize people into making healthier lifestyle choices while at the same time mobilizing them to take part in socially conscious activities.
So far participants in Jet Singh Trust events have raised thousands of pounds for charities with their combined efforts. The good causes supported include: Birmingham children’s hospital (£11k); Sikh helpline (£3k) , An Indian girls orphanage (£5k); Wings, a local special needs group (£1k), a donation to a local terminally ill girl (£1k) and WaterAid (£7k).
