With Paris 2024 and LA 2028 on the horizon and Brisbane 2032 just beyond, British Wrestling has reshaped its Performance pathway programmes with a focus on providing greater wrestler support and development to a smaller group.
Following a selection meeting of the British Wrestling Performance Team, we are pleased to announce the selection of the following wrestlers to a British Wrestling Performance Programme.
The GB Senior and LA Potential programmes are open to wrestlers within Senior, U23 and U20 levels who have been identified as showing the performance potential for qualification towards Paris 2024 and/or LA in 2028.
The GB Development programme is specifically designed to provide a transitional programme between the talent pathway and the GB Senior performance programme. Only Wrestlers who are in U20 and U23 categories are eligible.
