Sport Makers driving participation in Wrestling
British Wrestling is working closely with Sport England to use the inspirational pull of London 2012 to recruit, train and deploy 40,000 new sports volunteers, known as “Sport Makers.”
It is expected that Sport Makers will assist the sports like wrestling to increase participation in 2012 and long after the London 2012 Games.
It is intended that Sport Makers will encourage a group of friends, colleagues and or neighbours (over anyone over the age of 16) to join them in trying wrestling.
A Sport Maker finds their nearest “wrestling4U club” and arranges a time and a date for their group. Wrestling4U clubs are those that are expecting calls from Sport Makers!
If you take part in Sport Makers you could be eligible for London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic tickets.
