Competition Medical Regulations
The welfare and health and safety of members and participants is British Wrestling’s top priority. The Board of British Wrestling has approved a set of Competition Medical Regulations, prepared by Chief Medical Officer Dr Saam Falahati, to be used by competition organisers.
These Regulations are set to establish the basic health and hygienic conditions that must be met by the competitors, and the competitions supervised, regulated, controlled, directed, or recognised by British Wrestling. The regulations recognise that the level of cover needed will vary depending on the size and level of the competition and make adjustments based on the British Wrestling competition star system.
For any clarification or further guidance on the medical cover for competitions please contact British Wrestling.
