Grégory Martinetti, nephew of FILA President Raphaël Martinetti, was Senior Coach at this year’s Knockagh Wrestling Camp.
The Knockagh Wrestling Camp is designed to ensure everyone has a positive experience in a closely supervised environment. The focus is on fun, fitness, fundamentals, discovering new techniques, developing existing skills, making new friends and sharing knowledge and experience with coaches and wrestlers from a variety of clubs.
This year’s camp was also attended by Colin Nicholson, BWA Chief Executive who closed the camp. “This is a great example of what can be done to enthuse juniors with what a great sport wrestling is” said Colin
The camp also got coverage on Ulster Television’s evening sports programme during August.
