Sport England recognises and values the commitment made by sports clubs to develop high quality, welcoming environments for young participants.
Clubmark is built around a set of core criteria which ensure that accredited clubs aoperate to a set of consistent, accepted and adopted minimum operating standards.
These minimum operating standards need to be nationally agreed and the National Governing body (NGB) must have and agreed National Playing Programme for Wrestling Clubs to sign-up to and follow. This will enable the Clubmark Organisation and its affiliates in the Community Sports Partnerships (CSPs) to assess clubs for their Clubmark. (However, currently, not all CSPs are accredited assors).
On 17th August, the British Wrestling National Playing Programme (see link below) was agreed and handed over to the Clubmark organisation for implementation.
