British Wrestling are happy to report that Neon Wrestling Club has hosted another successful annual event on the 15th July 2023. The event saw another great turnout of over 80 wrestler at this grass root event.
The Competition Organiser had this to say:
Thank you to all the parents, coaches, competitions, volunteers, referees and BWA staff for your incredible support and involvement in our wrestling event this past Saturday. We greatly appreciate your dedication and hard work.
We are proud of the progress we have made in terms of infrastructure, despite this only being our second event in Southampton. While we acknowledge there is room for improvement, we promise that each year will be bigger, better, and more exciting than the last.
To the parents, thank you for your unwavering support and creating a vibrant atmosphere. Coaches, your guidance has been invaluable in shaping our wrestlers’ skills. Competitors, your talent and sportsmanship were outstanding.
A special thanks to the volunteers, referees, and BWA staff for their tireless efforts behind the scenes. Your professionalism ensured a seamless event.
Enjoy a well-deserved summer holiday, and we look forward to seeing you all at our next wrestling event on the 6th of July 2024. Rest assured, we are already working to make it even more memorable with custom made professional medals and trophies.
