British Wrestling is sad to announce that our current performance manager, Huw Griffiths, is stepping down from the position and his last day will be March 8th. Although it won’t affect selection policies, camps or competitions, with it does comes a vacancy and opportunity for a new performance manager to lead, develop and maintain a performance pathway.
This exciting opportunity in an Olympic sport will involve leading and developing wrestling’s performance pathway to develop wrestlers to qualify for Olympic Games. This will include the continued development and implementation of performance standards at all levels of the pathway. The role will involve working closely with Home Nation countries, coaches, officials, management, administrative staff and scientific support personnel.
