10 months after the Boxing Day floods of 2015 a revitalised Academy celebrates its return with the local community – with a Re-Opening Open Day!
On Wednesday 26th October the doors will be open from 10:30am to 6:30pm for a fun-packed day including BuggyFit, Table Tennis, Weightlifting, Dance, Fun Wrestling and a “Ladies’ Only Hour” combining many of these activities.
The aim is work with local communities and bring local residents into the Academy to enjoy the facilities in their midst.
The sessions are a build upon recent successful sessions with the two nearest local Primary Schools on Wednesdays during the last six weeks.
All the general public and members of local Wrestling Clubs are encouraged to make the most of the half term holiday and spend a day having fun at the Academy.
Anyone is welcome to ‘pop in’ for a tea/coffee throughout the day, so please feel free to come and have a look at the newly decorated Academy.
There will also be a chance for BWA clubs and members to discuss British Wrestling’s strategy for the next four years between 12:30 and 2pm.
