British Wrestling is pleased to launch the online Level 1 theory element of our wrestling coaching course platform. We have worked closely with Sports Structures to develop the new interactive online learner platform for the theory elements of our coaching courses.
British Wrestling offers two levels of coaching course, you can find out more about the coaching pathway here. The new online coaching course platform enables greater flexibility for prospective coaches by splitting the courses into two parts. Part 1 is coaching theory and is delivered and tested online. Part 2 is practical and will be delivered as soon as national restrictions allow.
We now offer both the level 1 and level 2’s theory elements online.
All the theory based learning for our coaching courses must be completed prior to a learner booking their place on Part 2 Practical. Part 2 Practical courses will be delivered regionally to reduce travel for coaches.
This new approach has enabled us to reduce the overall cost of coaching courses a saving that we are able to pass on to you. Total cost of a level 1 course previously for our members was £275 and now reduced to £250. This allowing the expansion of our education pathway to all nations and regions.
Unlike the Level 2, the pre-requisites for a Level 1 are programmed into the membership system. Basic requirements to book on are you must be 16+ years old and be proficient in English, the requirements to becoming a coach can be found here: Coaches – British Wrestling. If you would like to book onto a Level 1 theory module, log into your membership portal and book yourself on.
Part 1 and Part 2 are both separate payments.
