Wrestling NI and British Wrestling are hosting an open forum event on Sunday 2nd February, 11am – 12 noon, at the Amphitheatre Wellness Centre, Carrickfergus.
Any individuals, groups or organisations running or interested in running wrestling activity in Northern Ireland are invited to attend the forum. The session will present an opportunity for those attending to hear Wrestling NI’s plans for the growth of wrestling in the country and how they can benefit from being part of Wrestling NI.
The committee of Wrestling NI, led by Chair Bruce Irwin, will explain Wrestling NI’s plans and invite the wrestling community to come together for the good of the sport.
Wrestling NI has submitted an application to become the affiliated member of British Wrestling in Northern Ireland. British Wrestling Chief Executive, Craig Anthony will be in attendance to talk on plans for the rest of the country and how a strong wrestling community in Northern Ireland can support that wider goal.
There will be an opportunity for all to engage in the conversation and find out more about membership and affiliation packages for both Wrestling NI and British Wrestling.
There is no need to book, but if you have any questions ahead of the event please contact Bruce Irwin on bruceire@yahoo.co.uk.
Wrestling NI and British Wrestling look forward to welcoming you to the forum.
